Data discovery provides users with a digital experience to discover, search, browse, and navigate LSEG content distributed through feeds available across many different distribution mechanisms, including SQL endpoint and bulk datafeed. It is a complimentary capability, free to access for exploration purposes and includes detailed content information based on user commercial entitlements. Data discovery is offered via an authenticated user front end, offering enhanced exploration "Find", access to content samples 'Try', mapping to commercial packages and support and administrative functions where appropriate 'Use'. Clients will be able to discover data fields and definitions across content faster than is currently possible making workflows more efficient. Subscribed customers have additional programmatic metadata access through their chosen product delivery method. These discovery capabilities will become increasingly valuable as more data is exposed through the Data Platform and data can be easily and efficiently found, trialed and consumed with consistent access patterns.
